It's... pretty close, but it's pre-recorded. Uh, like the videos you can take on your phone. So they can add in lots of special effects and stuff that they wouldn't be able to do if it was live.

It's still people playing characters and acting out stories, though.

Out of these... uh, well, I was really young when they came out, so I never actually saw most of them. But The Matrix is pretty cool... and The Phantom Menace got kind of a bad rap, I think. People really hated Jar Jar a lot more than he deserved. He was doing his best...
