I still don't get how you can be so cool about all this stuff all the time.

Hm... I'm just treating the game like it's work. If I view it that way, and slot it into something I know, I don't feel uneasy.

Uh... Somehow I don't think that's a thing most people can do. I mean, work's usually a pretty stressful thing in itself.

What did you do for work?

Oh, I'm in the circus. Hence the, uh, monkey the other day...

Even if I do get some pretty serious stage fright sometimes, it's not too bad... but if I was still doing retail or food service or something, I'm pretty sure that'd be another story.

Where is he now?

That's surprising. I'd think being on stage would be much more stressful than bagging items.

He's hanging out back at the warehouse. I wasn't sure I could trust him not to mess with some of the other animals here.

[ shakes his head... ]

Yeah, but customers are real big jerks sometimes... lots of bad managers and stuff tooo.

That's probably fair. [He did try to steal her entire car once.]

I take it you have a good boss at the circus?

[ he sure did! ]

Oh, yeah, the boss is super nice! [ and yet there are still no clear positive emotions here! ] I mean— she's a little, uh, out there sometimes, and... keeps trying to get me to do stuff that I'm totally not ready to do... but overall, she's pretty good!

I feel like pushing your employees isn't a sign of a great boss.

Well, I know she's just trying to push me to grow as an animal tamer, which I do always say I want to do... she just, uh, doesn't quite understand fear, I think.

Anyway, she's still a teenager, so she'll... probably grow into her own role?

Um... seventeen, I think...?

That seems young to run an entire circus.

[unsweeten]

Oh, no, she's just the head of the animal tamer division. Mr. Moe's the ringmaster who's in charge of like, the whole thing overall.

Regina's the daughter of the previous ringmaster, though, so she's been doing this stuff her whole life.

As long as you like it. Not everybody enjoys their jobs, from what I've heard.
